Geo fence works when leaving but not returning

Hi everyone,
I have the latest hub version. The rule is very simple: When I leave with my iPhone 6 and exit the geo fence, turn on virtual switch: ALARM. This works great. BUT when i return home and enter geo fence, the rule says turn off ALARM. But it does not do it.
Any suggestions?
Thank you.
Andre

Please post a screenshot of the Rule. Since the RULE fires when you leave, it sounds like the GeoFencing is working properly. You can verify this by looking at the EVENTS for the Presence Device which is based on GeoFencing.

I would recommend using @iharyadi 's presence sensor in combination with your iphone to determine presence.

Thank you sir for the quick reply. I will definitely look into that. But I just tried to enable "Validate location on network change". It fixed it. I will still look into your suggestion.

One of the things I find with phone only is sleepiness. So I use a combo. Wifi connection on my phone and @iharyadi 's presense sensor. It works very well and the range on the presence sensor is amazing

Also need to account for the geofence polling interval, not sure what it is, but know it isn't instantaneous. Expect that it is quite possible to get within a small geofence radius and in the house if the polling interval is 5-10 minutes. One setting that may help is the w Settings are discussed:

Thank you thebearmay. I have it set like the attached screenshot and it works great!

Thank you sir for that info. My problem was that when I am at home I am on my house wifi. Then I go to run errands and later on the road I remember to switch my phone from wifi to sim card data. But thanks to a feature in the app "Validate location on network change" Now I leave and my alarm turns on automatically and turns of automatically when I am almost home! Love my HE!
