Generic Zigbee Moisture Sensor driver "generates excessive hub load"

So I have some older Samsung ST Water sensors. They check-in once every few hours per day.

But it seems every check-in the hubitat is unhappy

Is this normal?

It's certainly not normal to be getting those errors. Often the excessive load comes from devices that are very busy, but in your case that does not seem to be the case unless there is activity that does not result in logging. I would suspect the device driver. Perhaps check your device and see if there are any other logging options. Alternately, see if you can find an alternate device driver.

This is the generic, built-in driver.

Yes, I noticed that which should be very "safe". Have a look at the bottom of the device page and see if it is any scheduled jobs or subscribed events that could be called. Like this.

Those seem relatively innocuous.

I have the same device and mine seem to be a little older.

I'd try doing a configure and see if whything changes (you probably did that already). Next I'd try turning on the debug logging to see if it reveals anything.

Are you getting the same result on all of your leak sensors or just that one.

I would try changing the battery since it is showing 12%.

I actually have multiple of these sensors.

Here's another one at 62% battery doing the same

What does this page look like for those devices?
