Generic valve actuator

I'm moving my z-wave devices from Piper hub to C-7 and I have a generic valve actuator that I just can not include. It did not come with instructions and I don't remember how I did it years ago. I tried excluding it, holding the button, pressing 3 times quickly, etc. The led just keep blinking. Would someone have some tips?

It's old as you know, the 300 series Zwave chip, meaning its ZWave and not ZWave +, dates it.

It may be that it has had a full and complete life. There's no way to get the device into Exclude/Include without the 'magic dance' the manufacturer created for it. On line manual is probably the last hope.

Agreed, Google the model # that appears to be printed on the circuit board in the first pic to try to track down a copy of the device’s user manual, which should specify what combination of button presses will put it into include/exclude mode.

Looks similar to a Zooz ZAC03. Manual is online. Try factory reset then try to include. Might not be the exact brand but may be from same manufacturer.

Or for less than $25.00 you can get a Tuya Zigbee actuator.

I have this on the main water valve. Has lots of torque.

Use the ‘Sinope Water Valve’ driver.
