GE/Jasco Z-Wave Switches Failing

No wood slats. Does that mean it has to have metal lathe? I don't recall seeing that when I've drilled into the wall.

Not an expert in this subject by any means, I just know metal lath is possible and would cause interference issues. It could be plasterboard underneath is there is not wood or metal lath: Plaster walls - the different types of construction methods for internal plaster walls

So the 4 switches that are close to the hub, are some of those the ones with many route changes or is it the further ones with a lot of route changes?
