GE/Jasco Z-Wave Plus Switch Warranty Replacement

I would just like to do a huge shout out to GE and their warranty department. I had a GE Jasco switch that just went dead and the relay just kept clicking. I called up their warranty team and within 5 minutes I had my receipt emailed to them and a new one on its way to me via UPS.

5 MINUTES!!! when was the last time you ever had that easy of a time doing a warranty on something. People like to compalin when things go bad but never praise that often when things go right so i just wanted to say "GE keep this up"!! Other manufactures please copy this! This is enough to persuade me from one company to another.

Not to mention also their switches are getting slim... there is not much room in those wall boxes and Jasco is doign a great job of making their profile smaller to help with this.


thats a good 5mm shorter and considering it is 32mm deep that is a 15.6% reduction in depth. That's awesome!! Good on you Jasco and GE!!

With Allegion/Schlage. They've replaced three locks for me (2 BE469s and 1 FE599). No questions asked, didn't ask for receipt. All they wanted was the serial number at the back of the lock.

The first replacement I did they asked for a photo of the back of the lock, but not the second two.

I could tell you a long, sad tale about GE microwave warranty, but it wouldn't really be apropos.

I recently went through a similar process with Inovelli. Sent off an email with all the details and in 3 days the new switch arrived at my door,... in Canada.

Another example of great service.

The Smartest House @agnes.zooz has been great. I ordered two Zooz 4-in1 sensors and one had either been returned or overly tested at the factory. it looked like someone shoved a nail or toothpick in the action reset button. I got a replacement within three days. I was so satisfied I ordered two more.
