GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Switch S2 Access Control

Hi. I just got my new C7 Hub and have one GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Switch.

When I discover the device, I get asked about security; 2 out of 4 check boxes are checked and I hit OK. It then asks me for the 5 digit device code which I put in.

Initially, Settings showed "none" in the Security column, and the controls were working great. Then, I figure, shouldn't there be S2, so I started the process over, removing, excluding, resetting the device. More than several times.

Sometimes Settings shows "none" in the Security column, and sometimes "S2 Access Control".

When it shows "none" : works fine
When it shows "S2 Access Control": nothing

Can someone tell me what's going on?


I figured it out. The device had to be picked off the drop down list when in S2. When security was "none", it knew what device.

If I remember right I reported this to habitat previously. Maybe it will be fixed in a future release.
