GE enbrighten Smart Switch 46201 discovered as GE Smart Fan Control

The title says it all. Excluded and re-discovered with same results. I changed to GE enbrighten z-wave Smart Switch and Generic z-waveSmart Switch and switch is unresponsive through device panel. Works fine with physical switch presses.

This switch was new ini box. Is it possible iit really is a fan switch, jut in the wrong box? More likely it is something I'm doing wrong.

You will need to use a dimmer driver as this is a dimmer.. 0x26 is Switch Multilevel

Try "GE Enbrighten Z-Wave Smart Dimmer" driver

A switch driver would be sending Switch Binary commands 0x25 which the device doesn't have..

That works perfectly! Thanks. Not quite sure I understand completely. The box this switch came out of clearly says Smart Switch. I have other GE enbrighten boxes marked Smart Dimmer that I bought specifically for areas where I intend to have dimmers. I guess as long as it works, who cares. I'll know what to do next time. Thanks again.
