ZigBee microwave sensor powered by 12 V would be amazing. I was sent the catalogue and there is loads or crazy good looking products.

Microwave sensor for occupancy would be amazing. And you could crank it up and get brain cancer at the same time! Or cook your dinner!
But seriously, occupancy sensors of this type have been sorely lacking.

Yeah massively! I also wired 12v to all of mine so im already set up!
What I'm also really interested in was on the other page they had a ZigBee mains powered 4 input unit. Abit like the new Philips hue thing but 4 inputs and mains powered. I have asked for some more information because it was lacking on any details.

The PIRs and microwaves are still in development that's why they don't exist anywhere else other that the catalogue.
Going to see what I can get hold of to test, but the stuff theses guys have in the pipeline is going to enable a much better set-up. It would mean I could actually looking at doing it professionally and although I have, it's not been something I recommend due to the battery side of things. This would remove this and the switches issues and the detectors can be on a 12v backup supply.
