Hi everyone. Just started on Fully Kiosk Browser after seeing others use/suggest it here. I'm loving it. This is a bit off-topic specific to Hubitat. But wondering if others have Kiosk-friendly apps or sites that they use alongside their hubitat in the Kiosk that complement it well?
For example, I have Amcrest cameras. The tinyCam app goes pretty well in Kiosk mode. Or for sites, I was looking for a kiosk-friendly site or app that isn't covered with noisy ads and loads well. For that, https://www.freeweather.com/ does a decent job but interested if others found any.
My number one site(s) are those that have animated Gif's for weather and traffic. Most major cities have them linkable on their news sites. Here in Chicago I grabbed:
It's just the screensaver for when the screen is idle. It is the standard (and free) option on DAKboard. I also use the camera to detect when I am walking up to the tablets, so it automatically goes to the dashboard I have set as the home screen for each tablet (One for basement, one for main floor, and one for upstairs). The only negative I have is that if I am watching a movie in low light, the fluctuating light from the TV can trigger the dashboard in my peripheral and can sometimes distract me.
