. They work but are just too big to put on my window. ( 4 inch diameter)

They don't have to be placed on a window. They listen to the glass breaking.
You can put them on the ceiling or wall nearby and most people will ignore them since they look somewhat like a smoke detector.
I've moved on to smaller vibration sensors, that do dual duty, glass break and window tampering.
One thing the glass break detectors have going for them, the battery life is incredible, like 4+ years on 2 x CR123
