Forum Date Convention

As a new user I am a little confused by the date convention in posts. When I see June 18 is the date June 18th of 2019, or June of 2018?
Also, why do I find strings of replies to a given post that don't seem to be on chronological order?

Hi there, sorry for the confusion. The easiest way to identify if the post is from August 18th of current year, or August of a previous year, is to look at the date in the corner - August of a previous year would have a leading apostrophe for the year:

Also, if you click on the date, you will see the full date including the year:

August 18th of current year doesn't have the leading apostrophe:

Also, if you click on the date, it will NOT display the current year:

Hope this helps.

Thank you for clarifying! If you don't mind I would also like to know if I can turn off email replies? I would prefer to view my posts/replies on this forum only.

In your profile settings, you can set the email preferences.
