Fog machine - hubitat remote

Hello everyone.

I have a small problem im hoping hubitat can solve.

My teens wanted to have a halloween party. So i thought hell lights do some lightsband fog. So off to spirit halloween where i purchased this unit

Turns out there is no timer function. Meaning it only activates when i push the remote on the button. Totally my fault. I should have checked more before i bought. But oh well.

It comes with a box in the back that looks like this for the remote.

And this is available for timing for an additional 20 dollars.

Am i correct in thinking i could wire a zwave relay into some kind of pigtail to trigger this thing from hubitat?

If the answer is yes i welcome any suggestions.

A Fingerbot would be ideal for this.

I have two that work great with the driver from @kkossev

yes. if you have a multimeter, you can check the pins on the button to see which pins get connected when pressing the button, and wire a relay to this. this will function like "remote fingers" for you to remotely control the remote. i did something similar with a blinds remote before i got a bond bridge, so it definitely is possible. just be sure to not trigger both relays at the same time in case it might cause some weird things on the remote
