Fixed IP C8 hub, now new router with no way to get back to old router address

Set up a new network at home. Abandoned Comcast WiFi and put in UniFi system, now using their XB8 as a modem only in bridge mode

Everything works great, except that I had my hub on a fixed ip and now I cannot access it as Comcast makes me create a new DHCP range.

I can see the hub in discovery, but not connect to it. How to reset the network only portion when I cannot reach it

Flip the hub over. On the bottom there’s a button hidden in one of the vent holes.

Hold that button for about seven seconds, the hub’s LEDs should flash and the hub will reboot with DHCP configured so it should receive a new IP address from your router.

This!!

And then, when you have access to your hub again, put the IP reservation on your new Unifi device (Cloud Gateway, Gateway, UDR, etc.) rather than setting the fixed IP on the Hub. Much better to set that stuff on the router.

Thanks, did the trick.

It was documented, which I found only after posting…

Will set the IP addresses on my Cloud gateway (after I sort out my Sonos system that has a similar issue)
