Came home and my door didn't auto unlock. Lights didn't come on. Checked Hub and found Red Light. (on a battery backup) Pulled power for a bit went back to working. Pending disaster??
Usually means the platform shutdown and the hub is ready to be unplugged or power cycled.
Any chance you have any automations that are configured to reboot or shutdown the hub?
I feel like an idiot, sorta. I found that my Ring Power Monitor had been unplugged somehow. The suspect is a grandchild. It did exactly what is was supposed to do. Thanks for your help
In case you are interested, I have a half dozen or so Ring Range Extenders v2 that are set up with a voting rule in case any one of them goes bad or becomes unplugged (had that happen one day a few years back when my wife unplugged one of them to get an outlet for vacuuming). In order to declare a "real" power outage, a majority of the Ring Range Extenders have to signal a power fail, which then initiates the power fail timeout and controlled shutdown.
I have posted the rule set before, but would be glad to post them again if you want.
Sure

And then, a subsequent post after @dennypage modified his Ring Extender driver so that the "return to mains" event wasn't missed on power return:
Any questions, just ask.
