The IP address is the WAN for my router. How can I locate what is sending this? App 33 is not on my hub so I don't know what that is either. Looks like a presence app but I don't think I had one. Maybe I did and removed it. Any help appreciated.
I found a similar thread suggesting it is the HE mobile app. I'll try that
[EDIT] Sure enough - removed the HE app from my iPad and iPhone and reinstalled and the messages stopped. The log warning message should be updated to give people a better hint for what to do.
One other thing - and probably the most important thing - App 33 was my oldDashboard app, which somehow got deleted, I reinstalled it and it got a new App number and the new app on my mobile devices now point there.
yea I get that. the presence call from the HE app could include a signature to let HE hubs know that this is the HE app calling home - both were built by the same company - so if the message gets received and the app isn't there or is goofed up somehow, the user can be informed to reset or reinstall the HE app and/or the dashboard app on the hub. I know this is probably a 3sigma infrequent use case, but as HE become more and more mainstream, these little UX niceaties will become increasingly important. Us hobby geeks don't need it but others would.
Would require a redesign of the endpoint interface which would effect every app using itβ¦. Understand the goal, but the solution is to break all of the external integrations, so probably not going to see it.
