Long time reader, but first time topic starter. I need your help.
I have successfully connected a fibaro smart implant to my hub, i am trying to integrate it into a vlock es8100 to open the loc thay isnwored with a fugure 8 The lock is currently set contacts normally closed i.e When the power is shut off, it will open the door. I havent been successful in using the fibaro smart implant here as the vlock is also wired to the door intercom and constantly drawing power.
So i then tried to control the vlock via the door intercom command wire, the intercom is a dahua 4 wire intercom. By connecting the switch out 1 from the fibaro to the button wire on the intercom i have managed to get some luck.
The problem im having is when i switch on the switch out 1 on the fibaro, it opens the lock but doesnt allow me to turn off the fibaro switch, hence i can never relock the door. I have tried everything and i cannot siwtch off the fibaro switch out 1. If i physically disconnect the switch out wire from the button wire, only then can i turn off the switch.
Also while the wires are connected. It seems to make a switch sound everrly few seconds..ypu help is really appreciates. Im not sure if i can use theninputs connected to outputs option here. Ive never really understood what that was for..
