When I include one of these from HE directly it shows up with S0 security, no option to skip. I've read S0 is very inefficient and increases network traffic. These are flood sensors... not particularly worried about security. I can unpair them and re-pair them using a stick. When I do that they show up as a "device" and I can change the driver to the correct one. Everything works fine, but it's kind of a pain. I took a look through the forums and didn't see much on this guy. Is there an easier fix?
Some devices have a driver version that allows pairing without security. Otherwise, what you did is the only solution at this time.

Oh well. Thanks for validating my approach. Makes me feel better that at least I am not overlooking something that would make life easier.
