It would be great if we could set scenes and color changing bulbs would set color temp using a variable like we can do in button controller and rule machine.
Which app are you using? Room lighting can use a variable to set color temperature along with the others you mentioned.
Groups and Scenes. Should I be using Room Lighting instead? I'm not sure when to use one over the other, for the most part. I'm looking for an easier way to reproduce what I have in button controller.
What do you have in button controller and what exactly are you trying to do? Room Lighting can do everything that Groups and Scenes can do (plus a lot more), so it really depends on overall goals.
