Since some of us use custom sound files for notifications, it would be nice to be able to share those sound clips via post attachments instead of using a 3rd party site.

ugg that would be horrible. I don't wanna read a message where all of a sudden sounds were going off. You should be able to do custom notification sounds on your phone/pc
That would be awful but forum attachments don't work like that. It would just be something you could click to download.
