[Feature Request] Enable String-Variable to allow to choose hub/local variables

in Actions > Run Custom Action:

  1. When chosing your parameter type, if you choose string, there is no option to choose Variable integer value from list of local/hub variables. This is only possible if parameter type is set to number or decimal.

This is because you can just type %variable-name% in the field.
