I have a little rule that aims to switch a ceiling fan off after 2 hrs use.
It appears that the ACTION runs every time the fan is switched on (even though it is switched off before 2 hours elapses). I get the notification after 2 hrs that the fan has been switched off.
Why is that ?
(Had to use RM as Homeseer Fan Control switch is not recognised as a "switch".)
It's may be because of the various triggers you have, although I am not sure why it would. The first trigger, on, should be all you need. I'm not 100% sure because I have never really used it in that way, but if it goes to any of the three states it is on.
You could turn on logging and see why. Set the the time limit to 1 minutes temporarily and you can watch what it is doing.
