Failed Node that works 100%

I have a wall dimmer switch that fails to repair:
fail_pair

Even the topology shows this:

The thing is there is another switch on an opposite wall maybe 20 ft away with no obstructions (line of sight) that also works fine.
Using this switch in Rules, Dashboards, etc. works 100%. I don't understand how this can be called a failed node and work 100% of the time.

Likely some kind of firmware issue.. This is device is failing on node neighbor discovery, which is required to "repair" but not required for the operation of the device.

If your device if functioning, then there is really nothing to worry about..

Do you think a device factory reset would fix this? I've got 4 other switches of the same make/model that do not show this problem.

Not sure.. I'm not really familiar with these devices.. It's possible it might help but it seems like a lot of work for something that isn't causing you any issues in functionality..

Okay thanks. Seems like no reason to worry about this.
