Facing error messages with "generic zigbee contact sensor"

Gents, I have sonoff zigbee door sensors on my doors and windows. they are all reporting this error even the log is disabled.

It looks like you must have previously been using a different driver that created a scheduled job (there is/was a popular community driver that used this method name, possibly others too). The solution is to:

  1. Change to the "Device" driver temporarily (scroll down on that page, somewhere between your first and second screenshots, and change "Type" to "Device," then hit "Save Device")

  2. Run the "Delete All Scheduled Jobs" command (click/tap the button to run the command)

  3. Switch back to the driver you intend to use ("Generic Zigbee Contact Sensor," it sounds like)

If you didn't do it when switching in the first place, you may also want to run the "Configure" command after switching to this driver again.

No logging options will suppress unhandled errors in the driver code (this isn't an error in the driver per se, just an error caused by something the previous driver did that was never un-done and doesn't work with the current driver code--or likely most others).
