Why do all external logins ask for email and password and not username and password. I signed up with my google account (email & password) but that doesn't work. I created an admin user login (username and password) but external logins are email and password...
What am I missing?
When are you logging in externally? For cloud integrations like Amazon Echo and Google Home?
If yes, it is because those logins are to your Hubitat Cloud account, which then grants access to your list of hubs.
The ability to add a username and password to the hub itself is a fairly recent addition. It is primarily to prevent users on your LAN (aka “your children” 
) from messing with your hub.
