EVA Logik ZW97 Outdoor Smart Plug (2 channel) Not working

Issue: Initial problem that one of two plugs working

I am at an impasse. Trying to use the ZW97 for the lights this year's decoration and noticed only one of the plugs working as scheduled.

Tried to exclude then include--- could not so. And thru the hub forced override to remove it.

Have tried to reset--- holding for 10 seconds; clicking for 5 times and unplug for 30 seconds. Shutdown hub waiting 30 seconds. Tried to just include and plug in device to rejoin...

All resulting in nothing but frustration. Is it possible I bricked this? And if not any suggestions on steps to get this fixed?

Thanks in advance!

I have two of them, and they work well. I had the same experience until I read this in the manual...

"individual outlet control (press button 1x for left, 2x for right), and manual on/off (press button once for both)"

To turn on/off both outlets simultaneously, hold the manual/program button for three seconds.

I can not even get it connected now to Hubitat now :frowning:

To return the device to factory defaults, click the button twice quickly then hold for at least 10 seconds or remove it from the host connection.
Reset and include again.

Check for ghosts leftover from any unsuccessful pairings before you invest any time going at the device again... If you have ghosts, you're never going to make reliable progress until they are removed.

I use the "Generic Z-Wave DT Binary Switch" driver.

I did go into settings ->zwave and rebuild...? That clear out the ghosts?

Cant connect to change the driver.

Thanks for suggestion did the plug in---click 1 ---click 2--- then hold for 10.. still nothing..

As @hydro311 has suggested, you may have ghosts. Check your list of z-wave devices and remove all of the ghosts before proceeding.

No, that won't help unfortunately. Rebuilding the ZW network or at the individual device level rarely ever helps with anything at all.

This guide is the best resource for ghosts (identifying them and how to remove them).

Just to document final resolution.

Found my documentation says:

Add to Z-Wave Network
-Put zwave interface controller into "add" mode, triple press the program button. It will be included. Once it is confirmed- refresh the Zwave network to optimize performance)

Remove from Z-wave
Put Zwave into "Remove" and tripple press and program to exlude

To return to factory- click button 2 times quickly and hold for 10 seconds.

Did you get it included?

yes!! whoop whoop and thanks for your help!

so odd since all documentation i found online did not mention 3 press?? glad I saved the documentation when I bought it around Aug 2020.

Glad you got it to work. I love mine. I control all kinds of Christmas decorations with them.
