Ethernet speed - Fixed 100mbps setting

This has been mentioned before, but we have recently seen an increased number of network related incidents across all Hubitat Elevation hub models, some of which may be caused by the network switch used.

If you experience sluggish web interface and/or frequent network disconnects, your network switch that the hub is plugged into may not be able to properly auto-negotiate the Ethernet speed.

Luckily, there is an easy fix. If you are experiencing network connectivity issues, please follow these steps:

  1. connect to your hub's web interface
  2. select Settings
  3. select Network Setup
  4. scroll down to Ethernet speed section
  5. select Fixed 100mbps from the drop-down menu
  6. click Update
  7. reboot the hub from Settings
