I have been having trouble for the last serveral weeks. I have zigbee and zwave receptacles. I have a group of 4 lights outdoors 3 of them work fine but the furtherst one mostly turns on but a couple of times a week it never turns off. Also they are to turn off at 6 am. Sometimes it is 5:30 or 5;10. I get push notifications. I have a zigbee connected to a lamp. Most times it comes on when it should be doesn't turn off. I use the mobile app or the computer and it won't turn off. Sometimes it is on and then I look at the device and it says off with 0 PW.
I took the zigbee close to the hub and it operates normally. I looked at the log and it said Janis (the name of the lamp) was digitally turned off but the lamp is on. The zigbee is about 25 ft away with 2 walls from the hub. The outside garage light is 50 ft away.
Also I have a zigbee door lock. I have it set for 15 mintues after opening to close. Sometimes yes sometimes no. Also sometimes the door is already locked and I get push notifications that the door is lock. The other night it happened with 3 notifications 30 mintues apart.
The lock is also 50 ft away. I am wondering do I need another hub in the garage to take care of the lights and lock?
Could you please be more specific on devices make and model? Also you've mentioned Z-Wave, but it seems like you didn't include any Z-Wave devices in your examples.
Are your problems only with Zigbee devices, or both protocols?
The problem is with both. The lock is KwiksetModel
SMARTCODE_DEADBOLT_10_W3 which is Zigbee.
The Janis light is Zigbee Third Reality, Inc Model
3RSP019BZ The garage light is Zwave and Zooz switch. I have a C8 hub running 2.4.2.143 update.
Now I have another Zigbee that was supposed to turn off at 4 pm and it is still on.
Here is a log and the other lights with the problem have the same warning on logs.

I don't know why it says excessive load. I have about 29 devices.
What is device 928?
When posting logs, it's recommended to just post a screenshot of them (instead of doing a copy/paste) -- a screenshot is just easier for other folks to review & parse.
I did a test. I took the zigbee plug near the hub and it works. I went back to the room and put back the plug and didn't work. I moved it to another receptacle 2 ft away and didn't work I then moved it across the room 10 ft and worked so evidently the signal is not reaching that part of the room.
So thinking that I wasn't getting a signal to that area of the room I bought an Aeotec Zigbee repeater.I added the device and it shows up on my device list but when I plug it is I get a slow flashing light which the manual says that the connection failed. How do I know if a repeater is working. Should I start all over with the device, reset to default and add again?
A suggestion re problematic pairing:
Also, in placing the repeater, are you "splitting" the distance between the hub and your distant device?
