As you start to develop things for Hubitat, you find yourself looking at the log page quite often. Since I know I will look at the log file after doing a change, I find myself often leaving a log file browser TAB open, with the app selected. After updating something, you then need to update the log page. If you have a lot of things in Hubitat creating log files, you have to navigate to the top of the page in order to press the 'Reload' button. IMHO it would be more user friendly to move the log interaction items from the top of the page to below the device log file listing. That way the user would not have to navigate to the top of the page just to press the button, to then navigate back down to the actual log text again. At least it will be easier to find and use the Reload button.
Your screenshot is the "Past Logs" tab of the Logs page, which is what is displayed when selecting the Logs button for a device on the Device Details page.... If you click / tap the Live Logs option in the top-left you should see logs as they appear in the hub. Would that suit your situation?
Thanks for a quick suggestion to resolve or ease the matter.
In this case I prefer the past log before the live log. The reason is that I am developing directly on Hubitat (using VSCode) and I find it becomes easier to read the log file if the log doesn't update. At the moment I am doing a parent app with some child apps why there is a lot of data traffic creating a fair amount of log entries to study.
Thank you @libra_sun_2000 ! And thank you again @sburke781 ! I have no idea why I didn't think about that , I must be more tired than usual these days I am sure this is what you intended with your suggestion @sburke781, I just didn't realise it. Thank you both for your patience with my questions.
