GE switch double tap

Moving over from SmartThings and I have several older GE smart switches (ZW4005). I had double tap working in smarttthings and have majority of automations running off of them. I can’t seem to get them to report the double tap even after trying several different drivers. Nothing shows up in logs. Should I upgrade to a newer version? If so what are the best ones that will give me simple On/Off and double tap. No dimming needed. Thanks!

Same issue that someone here had... Brand new switch. Any clicking of the up paddle turns the relay on. No matter how quick or how many clicks. Double or triple. They register in the log as double and triple but the relay comes on no matter what.

Any fix? My older ge/jasco and enbrighten switches did not do this.

What drivers have you tried? Are you pressing configure() after changing drivers? Have you tried the Generic Z-Wave CentralScene Switch driver?

I've tried the community Enbrighten scene switch driver, the built in enbrighten scene switch driver, the GE one, and the generic Z-Wave scene switch driver...

I dont think its a driver issue. It's definitely a local thing. The switch turns on too quickly for it to even be registered by the hub. Right now I have a rule that says when double tap to turn off the relay. So what happens is the switch will turn on when I double tap then the double tap action happens and it then turns off the switch. so for ~1 second the light is on, it flashes to to speak. It's annoying but the only way I can see getting around this issue. What is funny is that the older GE/Jasco/Enbrighten switches do not have this issue. They only did up to a double tap but atleast it worked without turning the relay on.
