Enbrighten Zigbee Toggle Switch - High Pitch Noise

I bought 4 of these Jasco Enbrighten Zigbee toggle switches for my home and they emit a harsh high pitch noise when I turn them on. When I turn them off, I can only hear it when my ear is next to the switch.

I tried these with 2 other switches and they all emit the same high pitched frequency.

I have these connected exactly how its shown in the instructions. (Neutral, Ground, Line & Load)
These are not a 3-way and they connect to 4 recessed ceiling lights. They also connect to the hubitat just fine

Are these just normally like this? Or am I doing some wrong? Does anyone have other recommendations for a toggle style smart switch?

Thank you!

I recently replaced a bunch of old Z-Wave switches. I used mostly Jasco Enbrighten Zigbee toggle dimmer switches (43090), a few Jasco Enbrighten Zigbee toggle switches (43084) and several Jasco Enbrighten Zigbee toggle add-on switches (46200) for 3-way applications. No issues with any of them, and no unexpected noises.

High frequency humming is sometimes a function of the load. What is the load? Does it whine when not connected to the load?

Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean when you say "What is the load?" I thought line and load just meant power to the switch and then switch to the bulbs respectively.

It stops humming when I turn the switch off, so I guess it doesn't whine when its not connected to the load.

Gotcha, hoping that it's just how I installed it cause I don't really see better alternatives than these for toggles.

The load @aaiyar is mentioning is the device connected to the switch - the type of light bulb. There is a possibility that the type of light (of load) you have connected to it is causing the whine somehow...

Ah, thanks for clarifying. It's connected to 4 led light bulbs recessed in the ceiling @aaiyar

What’s the brand and wattage of the bulbs? If you disconnect the load, does the high-pitched hum stop?

May not have enough current draw, might want to try replacing a bulb with an incandescent to see if the humming stops.

(if it stops you may need to add a bypass like: https://www.amazon.com/Aeotec-Bypass-Resistor-switches-flickering/dp/B0716BDNFB)
