GE/Jasco ZW4006/26932 (wired) motion switch connected to one overhead room light:
I have it bridged from Hubitat and integrated into my Apple Home. However, it only comes over to Apple as a “sensor” within the room (and visible only in the room view - and not main screen), but not as a light or switch.
Even worse, it is not even within a security group or sensor group within Apple Home. I can only have it send a notification when triggered, which is nice, but not enough. I’d like to use it as a normal light switch too.
It uses the Jasco driver by default, but I added the one custom driver from a community member.
Any recommendations on how to also make that switch appear as a light in Apple Home?
Turn on the "Show accessory classes and characteristics" setting at the bottom of the Homekit Integration app. Then show a screenshot of how you have it configured in the HomeKit integration.

Neat… I didn’t know that setting existed. But it sure doesn’t show up on HomeKit with those options.
Oh! I tapped on the Switch “link” and that changed it! Problem solved!
Thank you so much

I figured it was something like that with the advanced settings. You need that for any multi-capabilities devices. Comes in handy also if things are being sent over you don't want, you can remove them. Like the "Button" events are most likely useless in HK so you could probably turn that off.
