Unfortunately I woke up this morning to my Hubitat not working. The light was green but device was not reachable through IP address. I unplugged the device and plugged back in and now the light will not come on. The only sign of life I have is that findmy.hubitat is able to discover the device. I put in a ticket with support but thought I would see if anyone can help here.
I was not subscribed to any of the cloud services so all my backups are local. If the hub is dead, is there any way to get these local backups at least?
Did you do the full reset where you leave it unplugged for at least 30 seconds? That is normally for resetting the radios, but you never know. I would try that if you haven't.
If find my hub finds the hub, and the light is green, it should be on network. You should be able to get to the diagnostic tool to do a soft reset and keep your stuff. Find my hub will give you the IP address, then go to http://hubIP:8081 and log in with the MAC address printed on the bottom of the hub.
Unfortunately, no light is a sign of hardware failure of some sort.
findmyhub simply shows cached information from the last time the hub was online.
Try a different USB cable maybe? Cable failures are rare but not unheard of.
