Anyone else see this. Devices work locallly buy uploads to there site as is web page failing..
Yes, I can't access my weather page on their cloud and a check for the latest update just spins and spins. Looks like a problem in their environment.
ditto - their web page is not working for me.
ecowitt.net and ecowitt.com are both down ….
I tweeted at them. I'm sure they will get right on answering me. (joke)
Through the magic of local control, my sensors still report. Shame I have no automation yet ……
Yes i cant run ecowitt app or get to ecowitt dot com from uk.
First time this has happened in my 4 years with a weather station.
They're back up .... and there's no missing data.
See? You should have told me to tweet them earlier.
What power I have!
Indeed. We need to tap into that power the next time you're in these parts!
Both Gw1000b have missing data
My systems with gw1100b have no missing data ... it must buffer it.
Ie
What did you have to do to get back into your weather page? Mine is coming up blank. I have connectivity as I was able to download/install the firmware update.
**** UPDATE **** The Ecowitt App on my Android phone is working and seems to have current data from my weather station but I get nothing when attempting to access the web page from Windows/Chrome on a PC.
***** UPDATE ***** This appears to be a browser cookie or cache issue - switching to incognito mode I can get to the page.
I don't analyze weather data, but my large console has an SD card that records stuff.
I haven't looked at it, yet, lol.
I have the GW-2000B gateway and it appears to store or cache the data locally as I don't see any gaps in the data collected.
Same. I also have the 2000.
I thought there was a gap when I last looked, but now that I look I see no gap. So maybe it backfilled the data on the cloud portal at some point - which is nice.
Strangely enough we had network issues at the same time and in the process of trying to trouble shoot them while I was at work, my wife shut the router off!! She also started unplugging connections and wrecking having on all my automation equipment. only took me 4 hours to clean it up. the upside? Spectrum sent someone out (because the router wasn't talking to the modem) and they ended up replacing the modem, the fiber cable from the network connection to the modem and the fiber connection on the outside of the house to the drop at the terminal. I'm not sure if i should be upset or not, we are finally getting the speeds we've been paying for two years.
GW2000 at one place and a HP2560 display at another place. Data backfilled on app graphs, no gaps. Nice!
[Ecowitt is Down]
FWIW, I think this sounds like a great movie title. I'll be looking for it on Netflix!
they are in taiwan,, so it will be scifi with dubbing like the wandering earth.
Sounds like your wife had the right approach, got Spectrum to fix the underlying problem.
