I got the ecobee app installed and it shows connected but I cannot find a device named ecobee or thermostat. Should I see a device? I can't find anything in the documentation past getting the app installed.

I would like to add the info from the ecobee to a dashboard but if it's not a device how does that get done?

I found it, your query got me to think of it correctly. I was looking for ecobee as the device name... Newb mistake!
