If you HPM(Hubitat Package Manager) loaded do a search for ecobee and install that. Then set it up and see if it works for you.

Since I absolutely don't like cloud-based integrations I am using HomeKit built-in Home Assistant plus HADB to bring Ecobee Tstat an Sensors to the HE. This way integration is 100% local.
