Eco Automation - Multi-Sensor

I wish I would of checked the list of devices I just thought this one would be included but I don't see it. It is the Zwave Eco Automation Multi-Sensor shows that is 908.4 MHz Zwave Plus. Should I just return this or will there be an update? Thanks.

I can't find that product through a Google search. Could you provide a link?

There are many devices that aren't on the compatible list that work with Hubitat;

Found this comment:

"I have the "Eco Z-Wave Plus Motion & Light Sensor", UPC 862294000322, bought on eBay. It works fine with Kevin LaFramboise's "Dome Motion Sensor v1.2.1" device handler. SmartThings V2, so this may be irrelevant."

Scratch this - see below.

More and better:

I just tried multiple time to pair this device in discover devices - zwave - Start Z wave Inclusion - There is a code button near the battery. I triple clicked button and 5 flashes from led red light from unit and no device found on device discovery. Am I doing something wrong as I could be.. Thanks for all your help.

I've never heard of the device and couldn't find it on the ZWave Alliance web site. What I posted was what I found by searching. You might tag one of the folks in the thread I posted - I think they are active on the forum - they may know more.

Try z-wave excluding it first. Followed by a factory reset (assuming instructions came with it), And then pair it.

I have the Dome version of that device and it works great with Hubitat.

Also - you are in North America correct? 908.42 MHz is the North American z-wave frequency. The frequency differs in other parts of the world.

It says in the instruction book to put hub in exclusion mode and hit code button three times. I did that and nothing happened. I tried to pair and I still nothing.

How far away from the hub are you? Does the hub indicate it has successfully excluded an unknown device? Can you post logs of the exclusion process?

Are you sure the sensor uses the same z-wave freq as your hub?

Yeah open a log tab and keep it open when you do an exclusion. Post the results here..
You’ve not got the Hubs Zwave security setting to All have you ? Should be only for locks etc.

Sorry about how long it took me to run this. I tried to pair and then I ran the exclusion and tried to pair one more time... I don't know if any of this helps. Thanks for any help you can provide. It says Zwave Plus on the device.

Are you in the USA????

Yes why?

The question was asked multiple times, just in case you were in the UK and you are trying to pair a Zwave device with a US frequency.
Someone asked you to open Logs in a tab and then in another tab do an exclude and post the log results. You posted logs with discovery results. People are trying to be helpful and will give up if you don't help them understand what is going on on your end.

Sorry I'm fairly new to hubitat coming over from IRIS which was much simpler of a system. I like hubitat but don't understand everything. I didn't know there was a difference between open a separate tab and copying that versus going and copy the past logs? I don't mean to make others upset...

It isn't that people get upset, just that they have no information left to present. If there are things you don't know or someone asks for information you can't understand, please ask.
When doing any pairing/excluding operation, I would suggest always opening a separate tab for live logging. Once you start the operation, I would switch to the logging tab and watch. You can switch back to the discovery page at any time. If you don't get a successful result, try again. Battery devices are mostly asleep. Make sure that you begin the include or exclude process immediately you put the device into pair/exclude mode.

Hey you aren't going to believe this. I didn't hit the code button fast enough. When I had the log up live and was in exclude mode I seen I was able to exclude the device. The trick with this one is being really fast when hitting the code button. Thanks for your help tonight!
