Echo speaks sound from one echo v3 not working

Have 2 Echo devices, a v4 and a v3. Installed Echo Speaks and sound(notifications, etc) work fine on the v4 but can't get any
any sound from the v3 echo. It says everything is true on the Echo Speaks device page.
