I have 2 echo Gen 5 units, and they work well. The devices do not show Temperature attribute in HE, but the device in my Alexa app shows the current temp. It's great being able to say 'Alexa, whats the house temperature' - all that works fine (it averages your echo's).
Is there a way to update the echo driver to reflect this ability so I can pull temperatures into my temp sensors group and get a more accurate average in HE? I'd also like to push that data into Grafana via Logger.
How are you getting your Echos to show up as devices in Hubitat?
There is no built-in app or driver that permits this.
Perhaps you could ask the author of the community integration you use if the echo temperature sensor is exposed in the API they use? And the best place to ask that would be the thread created by the author of the integration.

I believe the amazon echo skill’s purpose is to bring Hubitat devices into the Alexa app. Not to bring echo device attributes into Hubitat.
