Echo speaks log error [RESOLVED]

Do you guys really want these?

How should they be reported?

Those errors appear to be from Echo Speaks, which is a community/user app. You should post your screenshots to the Echo Speaks main thread so the developer of that app gets to see them.

The warning also appears to be from a user driver, and not a built-in driver. You should provide that information to the author of that user driver ...

Thank you.

I did a "repair" on Echo Speaks in device manager and it is doing something so I expect that will take care of it.

All fixed!

If you look closely at the start of each log entry, you can see “app 12” or “dev [#].” (Presumably you have several devices selected in echo speaks)

That corresponds to the app or device that created the log entry.

If you click on the app/device # it will take you to the settings page for that app/device.

You could’ve then determined it was echo speaks throwing the error. And as @aaiyar explained, @tonesto7, the developer of that app, does want to know about errors.

Hubitat developers can’t do much about the code you installed on your hub, or errors those apps/drivers report in the logs.

If you’re still seeing errors from a device with a driver you installed onto the hub, try the above steps to confirm which device it is. And as @aaiyar mentioned, post your findings in the thread created by that developer here in the community. Usually there’s a thread with “[RELEASE]” in the title to indicate that’s where the dev announced his or her code release to the community.
