Copied a existing Dashboard to easy ones gave me this.
This are HUB variable but using connectors, so they are “nomal” contact etc. So why won’t they work?

What does "Current States" on the device detail page for one of these devices look like?
@support_team any chance you can look at/ fix this. It's the only reason I can't remove a old legacy dashboard.
I've run into this a couple of times. I just swapped the connector device type with a corresponding virtual device type.
In the device? So instead of using the connector change it to the normal virtual device and it works?
@OldChicagoPete tested it and it does not work, the dashboard works but then you can use the variable in the rules because it breaks the link.
however temp doing it to then select the correct bit on the dashboard then changing it back does seem to have fixed the dashboard.
I think I understand what you're saying. In my case the variable created a "Connector Switch" which I changed to "Virtual Switch" for dashboard purposes. In my rules I treat it as a switch (on or off) instead of checking the variable value (true or false).

Yes I guessed this is what you were doing and it will work like that, however you could have just created a normal variable device rather than a hub variable.
So there is still a big for if you use the hub variable and connector, however your idea did "trick" it into working, so thanks.
