I have a C7 and C8, but am only using the C8. I really don't know what to do with the C7. Is there any reason to keep it?
It depends on your current and potential future circumstances.
You can always use a second hub to split up devices such as putting the Z-wave on the C8 and the Zigbee on the C7 and connect them with hub mesh. If everything is running well on the C8, there is no need to do this.
If you have a detached garage or workshop, or anticipate having one in the future, you can use the C7 in that second location.
If you could use a few extra dollars to purchase new HA devices. you can try to sell the C7 hub. There are some folks on the forum who are still using older hubs that would benefit from an upgrade to C7. Hubitat still offers the C7 for sale new for $79.95. A used hub
would sell for something less than that.

I am the same. I have all of my LAN, WiFi, etc apps & devices on the C7 like Lutron, Govee, HADB, Owntracks, etc. on the C7 and Zigbee/Zwave, dashboards etc. on C8.

If you don't use it as a second hub, give it to or sell it for low cost to someone who has expressed an interest in home automation (or a frustration with their current non-Hubitat automation system), so that they become a future Hubitat customer!!
