Driver for Leviton D23LP-2RW Plugin Dimmer?

Anyone seen a driver for the Leviton D23LP-2RW Plugin Dimmer? This is a WiFi connected product.

Thanks.

Hubitat is not an IoT wifi hub by design, and any integrations for wifi devices must use the manufacturer's cloud server APIs and rely on the internet.

Then for someone to take the time to write a driver for that, with the authentication required, and to keep the device always signed in and connected, there really has to be some demand for it. Generally, there isn't going to be enough of a demand for that in the Hubitat community, because Hubitat users generally do not buy wifi cloud devices for what is designed to be a local protocol hub.

You are best to stay with Zigbee and Zwave, or local control wifi devices that do not depend on an external cloud server on the internet.

Thank you for the information.

Not all devices require cloud connectivity. Lutron works locally with a Lutron hub and the Hubitat Lutron Integration app. There is also a user-written app for integrating some Kasa devices over WiFi which works locally.

Can you reccommend an plug-in dimmer that works with Zigbee or Z-Wave?

I just bought one of these recently. It has been working great for the last month or so to control my bedside lights.

I've seen people talking about that app, but you need to buy the expensive Lutron pro hub 2 to use it, since Lutron has a proprietary connection protocol and the pro hub 2 gives Telnet access (which Hubitat can use) to access their devices through that hub.

Thanks. Yeah, everything Lutron is expensive. I already have a boatload of Lutron devices. They are bulletproof, but not inexpensive. That's why I'm looking at other, less expensive options for adding two more plugin dimmers.
