Dome Siren repeated sounds

I have Dome Siren. I've had it for years. Sometimes it works as expected, sometimes it annoys hell out of me and I can't figure why.

I have the Notification for when door opens and closes. All I want chime when door opens, and one chime when it closes. But sometimes I get 10 chimes for each event.

I have z-wave repeater between Hubitat hub and siren, but...

Is there a fix for this?

I had the same problem. Did everything I could do to troubleshoot it. Never found a solution. Recently I dug it out of my bonepile, opened it up, and found I can easily disconnect the speaker and only use it as a flashing alert. So that's all I can use it for but it is handy for a visual alert.

Same issue for me. I don't see a good solution yet. I'd love to fix this. I've got two chime devices and would love to stop the repeated chimes. I only see a single event in the logs and I've added a "time since event" option set for 15 seconds to keep it from tripping multiple times, so I've got no idea what the story is. I also have a Ring Range extender (which I need to hit one of my devices).
