But, perhaps it (the possibility it has the latest chip) means that all those advanced parameters noted in the above link would be available to you.

The long range thing sounds interesting for the device that will be toggled on the double tap.
It's in an out building about 100' from the house. But that would be a function of the configuration of that device's driver, not the "double tap sensing" device, right?
Fortunately, the device in the shed is responding. I'd like to see an RSSI for that device, but it doesn't show up in zwave details. I might try another driver to get the RSSI--I'm a bit surprised it's working so far away.
Curious, what is the device in the shed?

The documention mentioned that the only way to get the long range feature to work was to use SmartStart. But I couldn't get that to work and did the inclusion manually.
Yeah, SmartStart can be somewhat of a pain, even at this point in time.
