I've been noticing heavy delays in Zwave devices, only late at night around 2AM. Tonight I finally tried to open the logs to see what's going on. When I opened the ZWave setting page, everything is greyed out except "Cancel Repair", indicating a repair is in progress?
This would explain the issues, but I wasn't aware of a nightly ZWave network repair.
Do you have a scheduled backup at that time? It might turn off the radio in order to make the backup? This would be for the paid backups, not the local ones that don't backup the radios.
Yes, it looks like backups are done at 2:15am. You're probably right, but why does it appear to be doing a ZWave repair. Maybe someone from Hubitat will see this.
Any explanation for this? The radio stays in this condition for at least 10 to 15 minutes as I've observed. The settings page seems to indicate a repair is in progress. Screen shot above.
It's a gui issue from what I understand. One of the things the devs had to do to recover from the z-wave radio stopping caused by cloud backups. Things will massively change in the next beta regarding z-wave
