Does the C8 come with a wall wart?

Just wondering.

I'm in the middle of a power outage and I'm pissed at the TalentCell battery powering my C8 and a Zen16. Seems to have crapped out after only a few hours. No idea why, and not f inclined to find out.

I'm going battery free, including modem, router, f't. It'll make for less clutter. Simplify...that's the ticket, lol.

I'm a little confused... And in the end that doesn't matter... but are you saying you previously used a UPS and are now choosing to not use one? Or that you previously used battery storage for your home, but have decided to ditch that?

Don’t know about @velvetfoot but I have a powerwall and am still considering a UPS. Sometimes the power wall transfer is smooth as silk, other times it's an extremely jarring experience and I still indup loosing power to the modem, router, Hubs just long enough to be a pain.

Outages just put me in a bad mood, sorry. Now they're saying 11 pm tonight. I'll believe that when i see it.

I'll probably revisit the backup, and try to figure out why the short life. There's a lot i don't knew about batteries and how to extend their life.

I've done away with the C7 hub doing Watchdog duties though, I do believe.

I could put panels up, but it's a roof with exposed screws, almost 20 years old, surrounded by trees, and a half quadrant from a N/S orientation.

I can't see a Power Wall without panels and an electric car though.

Now they're saying 11 PM TOMORROW.

Just bought 1 of these, like 22 bucks + cost of 2 x 21700 LiIon cells, should run the hub for a full day

Power back at 11 last night.

Zigbee is still screwed up since its initial several hour outage after its backup battery crapped out.

Jumping through all sorts of hoops trying to get all the devices reporting again.

No problems with Z-wave.

Shouldn't have to have a backup battery or have the zigbee devices drop upon power restoration. Weak.

Would expect a panic mode response from the zigbee devices, and would also expect that most would resolve after a time (maybe up to 12 hours for some of the sleepier devices).

I've been told I was impatient before.
Thanks.

edit: I think they're all back to reporting. Rejoining them in the clear helped.
