Does it make a difference where I buy my hub?

I am about to order a C-8 hub to upgrade from my C-5. Is there any benefit for me or for Hubitat if I buy it from their website vs. somewhere else?

I would say no. I bought my C5 from Hubitat, my C7 from a Swedish retailer and My C8 from a reseller in Poland (not having to pay import fees etc.) and all have worked flawless.
Hubitat gets their money anyways… :slight_smile:

For Hubitat? Not really. For a buyer in the US, it’s a few bucks cheaper on their website than on Amazon, after taxes.

and surely with the margin Hubitat has to give to Amazon it's better to buy direct - more money direct to Hubitat that will support the product development???
