Do Hubitat device ids remain the same if I move to diff model? (ie: C7->C8 Pro)

If I buy a new hubitat model (C8 Pro) and I upgrade my C7 devices into that model, do all device IDs remain the same?

TIA!

(The reason? I use webservice eventsocket(s) to do other things like offsite logs, graph, etc and I want to know If I can rely on the device IDs currently in my database to do code.)

If you are restoring a (cloud) backup, your new hub will retain the same device IDs, however the Hubitat hub will have a different hub ID.
