Do Bali or Graber [Springs Window Fashions] roller shades need their gateway?

Does Hubitat need the gateway device to pair with Springs Window Fashions roller shades or does Hubitat pair directly to the [new] z-wave motor mentioned here Automatic Blinds for Windows | Bali Blinds?

I have the Graber/Springs Z-Wave cellular shades and those paired directly with Hubitat - no gateway required. They work well. Haven't tried any roller shades.

I have my Bali Roman shades paired directly with the hub. Also set up the remotes as button controllers.

I have Bali and they pair directly with Hubitat. I just installed one yesterday. Just make sure that you follow instructions and factory reset controller and shade/blind before pairing.
