I did a C7 to C8 migration about a month ago. But I made some changes to my C7 and I want migrate the whole thing again. But I can't see anywhere on the C7's backup/restore screen on how to make a migration backup.
Do you have Hub Protect? If so, you won't see this specific button, but a regular cloud backup via Hub Protect will do the trick. If you don't, you'd normally see the "Create a cloud backup for C8 migration" button you might be referring to. The hub needs to be registered for this to work (you'll see a "Register Hub" card on the home page if it isn't, and you would have specifically had to de-register it in the first place).
It's possible this is a one-time option, though I don't recall any specific discussion of that. I know people have tried multiple times in the same direction for one reason or another...
Thanks, that explains it. I did move my Hub Protect from my C7 to the C8 weeks ago. So it seems I will need to sign up for Hub Protect on my C7 if I want to do further migrations.
a non-Hub Protect C-7 has this option:
Both of my C-7's display that option, as does my C-5, however none of them have had Hub Protect, ever... maybe moving it is the critical clue.
